Granted does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data stays within your Google account.

Information We Access

To provide its functionality, Granted requires access to:

1. Current Google Document

We access the content of your open document to provide writing tools, variable replacement, and formatting features.

Scope: Limited to the document you have open. We cannot access other documents.

2. Google Drive

When you export, we create PDF files in your Drive. The Library feature can browse your other documents to import saved content.

Scope: We create new files for export. Library browsing is read-only and user-initiated.

3. External Requests (AI Features)

AI-powered features (chat, synonyms, reformulations, tender analysis) send selected text to our secure server for processing via Claude AI.

Scope: Only the text you explicitly select or submit. We don't store conversations or document content.

4. Email Address

We use your Google email to identify your account for AI usage tracking and subscription management.

Scope: Email only. We don't access your contacts, calendar, or other personal data.

Information We Store

User Preferences

Settings like formatting options are stored via Google's PropertiesService, within Google's infrastructure, associated with your account, not accessible to us.

Document-Specific Data

Info like your variable list and checklist items is stored in the document's properties. This data travels with the document and is only accessible to users with document access.

Server-Side Data

Our server stores: your email address, subscription plan, and weekly AI usage counts. We do not store document content, AI conversations, or any text you process through our tools.

Data Security & Retention

Document-related data remains within Google's infrastructure, protected by Google's security. Server communications use HTTPS encryption.

To delete all data, simply uninstall the add-on from your Google account. To request deletion of your server-side account data, contact us at the address below.
