Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

Granted is a Google Docs add-on that provides grant writing tools, including a reusable content library, variable management, AI-powered writing assistance, tender analysis, and PDF export capabilities. The add-on operates within Google Docs and Google Drive.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Granted, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the add-on.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to:

• Use Granted only for lawful purposes
• Use Granted in compliance with Google's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the add-on
• Not use the add-on to infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content. You retain all rights to the content you create using Granted. Your proposals, library items, and creative work remain entirely yours.

Our Software. Granted and its original code, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Granted is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The add-on will meet your specific requirements
• The add-on will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any errors in the add-on will be corrected

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Granted and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the add-on
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your documents
• Any bugs, viruses, or errors in the add-on
• Any other matter relating to the add-on

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Granted and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the add-on or your violation of these Terms.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Granted at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. By continuing to use Granted after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using Granted at any time by uninstalling the add-on from your Google account. We may terminate or suspend your access to the add-on at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
